Many of us have gone through the stress of having to take our kids for beyond-basic medical or dental care.  Here's one man's camera phone video of his son after a trip to the dentist - or in this case trip *at* the dentist's.

I heard about this video months ago when the DJs on Air1 were playing it on air and laughing about it. I later saw the video on the news. Both times, I was absolutely horrified by it. I cannot understand how a parent could exploit his or her child's fear like this. This poor child is quite concerned about what is happening to him, and his parent is laughing at him. What kind of parent do you have to be to do such a thing? It would have better and more responsible for the parent to explain to David what was happening and let him know that the side effects would subside with time, thereby hopefully easing his fear.

This young man was, as my dad likes to say, "drunk as a skunk."

Tania, lighten up. This kid isn't going to remember A THING. You're talking about something his mind clearly is not engaged in anyway--note timecode 0:55. What on earth good would it have done to explain anything to the boy? He wouldn't have remember it anyway.

And now he's got something to show the frat boys when he goes to college--"Look, pukes, I was drunk before any of the rest of you babies." Not that he should JOIN a fraternity that condones irresponsible drinking, of course...
