Sunday greetings everyone!

On Sundays, I often share with you the audio recording of my sermon from the previous weekend. However, today I have news to share with you.

On October 31, at the end of 21 years as pastor, I will be retiring from Westside Bible Church. In recent months, Susan and I have increasingly sensed God’s leading to pursue and develop ministry to refugees and persecuted Christians. At the same time, I have also increasingly sensed Westside’s need for someone with different strengths than me to serve as pastor.

In other news, you've probably heard that on Monday there is going to be an eclipse in North America. Remember, don't look at the eclipse without proper eye protection and don't look at it with the kind of protection that Fernando used the last time.
