Here is proof that you don't have to be dirty or offensive to be funny. This is a classic skit from the Carol Burnett Show featuring Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. I bet you can get more of these from a classic comedy DVD set somewhere.
A young minister, in the first days of his first parish, was obliged to call upon the widow of an eccentric man who had just died.
Standing before the open casket and consoling the widow, he said, “I know this must be a very hard blow, Mrs. Vernon.
"But we must remember that what we see here is the husk only, the shell.
"The nut has gone to heaven."
Here's a fun game for those of you who like the world domination board game RISK or dice game Yahtzee. (I think Dice Stacking Dude would like this one.) The aspects of how to play this game are so vast there isn't space here to list them.
OK, I'm really just too lazy to type out the instructions here, but I figured out the game with no instructions and I am sure you will be able to too.
Pete and Gladys were looking at a new living room suite in the furniture store.
Pete said to the salesman, "We really like it, but I don't think we can afford it."
