The parable of the sower and seeds was first taught by Jesus 2000+ years ago. This message of seeds needing good soil to grow worked then, and still works today.
Of course being a cartoonist I found a number of other locations where seeds might fall.
In a beer at Happy Hour In a dark room on a hard head
another hard head.. in a toilet?.. on a tv..
in the garbage.. in more adult beverages.. on the highway..
in a snow bank.. and in seedy characters
Thanks to Kathy Edwards for submitting this true story. She wrote, "Pastor Tim, This really happen to me when I was in the police academy....
One day the instructor asked us a very simple question......What would you do if you saw your mother run a red light....
A. pull her over and give her a ticket...
B. pull her over and give her a warning....or
C. just let her go, after all she is your mother?
When it came my turn to answer everybody looked my way because I was always cutting up in class...but being very serious I said..."The first thing I would do would be call for back-up"
Another woman in the class said, "it was very apparent that I knew nothing about the law."
To which I answered that it was apparent that she knew NOTHING ABOUT MY MOTHER!!!....
P.S....On the state exam I was the only one who answered the question correctly.
A preacher visits an elderly woman from his congregation. As he sits on the couch he notices a large bowl of peanuts on the coffee table.
"Mind if I have a few" he asks.
"No, not at all" the woman replied.
They chat for an hour and as the preacher stands to leave, he realizes that instead of eating just a few peanuts, he emptied most of the bowl.
"I'm terribly sorry for eating all your peanuts, I really just meant to eat a few."
"Oh that's all right" the elderly woman says.
"Ever since I lost my teeth all I can do is suck the chocolate off them."

Cybersalt's funny pictures collection has been years in the making and continues to grow. We are also in the process of moving images over from our old site so check back often. Don't forget to check out our funny cat pictures, funny dog pictures, funny elephant pictures, and take your turn to be funny.
Here's where we keep our funny car pictures.
Over the years, some of the most popular pages on the Cybersalt site have featured Funny Cat Pictures. We have to admit that even though cats often look at humans like they owe the feline world something (remember dogs have owners and cats have staff), cats aren't as bad as a lot of the press that they get.
And so, whether you are a cat lover or tolerator, we hope you enjoy these funny cat pictures. And, of course, if you have any funny cat pictures you want to share with the world, feel free to send them to us to post here.
Some say the world can be divided into two types - cat people and dog people. For the cat people of the planet, Cybersalt has the Funny Cat Archive. For the dog people we have this Funny Dog Pictures archive.
It's dedicated to the memory of Maggie - Pastor Tim and family's dog. The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
Here's our funny horse pictures collection.
We think Cybersalt's Funny Christmas Pictures Collection is the best on the net.
We hope you'll enjoy each one and share them with your online family and friends.
Merry Christmas!
