It's busy, busy, busy at Cybersalt World Headquarters, so for now I'll just ask you, "Have you played Bubbleshooter lately?"

Sunday greetings everyone!
One great thing about Thanksgiving sermons is they apply to times other than just Thanksgiving. You'll find my sermon "Thanksgiving is a Choice" (from last Thanksgiving weekend in Canada) at:

The Cybersalt Site has a new devotional from Rev. James Snyder today. James was having a terrible day that had him wondering why he even got up, but then things weren't as bad as he thought. You can read "Why Did I Get Up This Morning?" at:

Today, I'm excited to share with you (to the right) the new logo for the consulting and commercial side of Cybersalt, which will be officially launching on November 1. This new image will be the logo for Cybersalt.com. However, I still need to select a font to go with it. I invite you to help in picking one. If you click on the logo, or click on the following link you will be taken to a page where you can vote for 1 of 6 fonts to go with it:
www.cybersalt.com/1-cybersalt-font-competition
Now, don't be sad for the traditional saltshaker satellite Cybersalt logo (say that three times fast!) That graphic will continue to be the main logo for Cybersalt.org, the Cybersalt Digest, the Pearlygates Digest and the soon to be revived (also on November 1st) Cybersalt Shaker Youtube channel.

Today's Chicken Thursday shoutout is to Geoff F., who sent a video of Happy Girl. To watch, click on the snapshot on the right.
As I mentioned on Sunday, I totally missed that last Thursday was the 19th anniversary of the first Cybersalt Digest - which was originally called "Pastor Tim's CleanLaugh List." If you want to read that joke you can do so at:
www.cybersalt.org/clean-jokes/brave-firefighters
And if you want to go way back, you can see it in its original form (ignore the links at the end since they are all broken):

Sunday greetings everyone and happy October!
After sending last Chicken Thursday's mailing out, I started getting congratulations about a work anniversary on my LinkedIn Account (www.linkedin.com/in/cybersalt). It was then I remembered that September 28 was Cybersalt's anniversary. That's right, Cybersalt turned 19 on Thursday. Thank you so much, again, to all of you who have been and are a part of Cybersalt. As announced a couple of months ago, I am retiring from my church at the end of this month. As a result, some new and exciting things are in store for Cybersalt. More on that soon!
My sermon from last Sunday is now on the Westside Bible Church website. Our hearts can be full of joy in the midst of trials when we remember the promised end result and also the promise of wisdom to find that end. You can hear more about that by listening to "The Joy of Trials that Harden" at:
www.westsidefamily.org/messages/the-joy-of-trials-that-harden
Rev. James Snyder showed up late to help someone move and discovered what was really needed to get the job done. You can read "One Good Deed Deserves A Kick In The Pants" at:

Today's Chicken Thursday shoutout is to Rhea N., who sent this great picture of an everyday event at her son's house: A Great Dane Picnic. Thankfully, it's a picture of great danes eating *with* chickens and not eating chickens!
In other news, Shopify is hiring in Canada and Ireland. My daughter, Alyssa, works for Shopify as one of their tech support people (which they call gurus) and he told me that Shopify has a push on to hire people who can start in October so they are trained and working by Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is a work from home job and Shopify supplies the laptop.

Sunday greetings everyone!
There was no Chicken Thursday mailing last week. A late night trip to pickup Grandma Cybersalt from the airport squeezed out the prep time to get it together.
My sermon from last Sunday is now on the Westside Bible Church website. When God is working powerfully around you, there are some dangers to watch out for. You can hear more about that by listening to "Powerful Feeding" at:
www.westsidefamily.org/messages/powerful-feeding
