"By God's power you are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:5    

The conviction that God cares for us surrounds us with an armor of carefreeness. "Your Father knows what you need." Jesus reminds us. However, this guarding does not mean that He pulls miracles out of space like a magic rabbit from a hat.    

The heavenly Father will clearly show us His loving care. His Spirit will sustain our spirits. He will change apparent evil into greater good and blessing. He will lead from victory unto victory,  until that "last time" when He brings us to the salvation ready to be revealed. I don't always feel that I have hold of God, but praise the LORD, I know that He always has hold of me.  An unknown poet wrote.  

Able to keep, Yes, able to keep                                                            Though rough the path, all rugged and steep;                                                    Tender the heart that's caring for me,                                                               Mighty the grace, sufficient for thee                                                                         Able to keep-my weakness He knows,                                                                 Strong the temptation, crafty the foes;                                                                    God is my refuge, He is my shield,                                                                          Power almighty that never shall yield.    

Christian friends, There's great peace in the promise that we are safe in God's keeping. Keep that confidence by memorizing the verse below.   I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.
