We are told that our LORD'S attendance at the services in the synagogue
was a regular feature of His Sabbath activity. His example reminds us
that we too should begin to cultivate good patterns of behavior very
early in life.
I remember grandfather telling about the roads back in the "good old
days." Many times during the rainy season the mud was up to the hub on
the wheels and many roads had a one way path for several miles. If a
traveler heeded these roads they were spared a lot of trouble. In a
similar way, we must steer clear of . . .

In a similar way, we must steer clear of sinful attitudes and deeds, because once we get into such ruts we may be trapped by them for years. Questionable practices that are often repeated invariably lead to unhappy consequences.
Christian friends, let the Holy Spirit control you and you will develop a happy and well-adjusted life. Don't get into the distressing and frustrating track of evil. Keep forming good character traits.
All those who sow deeds evil
Reap discord, pain, and strife;
But those who form good habits
Shall find abundant life.
