"When you stand praying, forgive, if you hold anything against
anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your
sins."
- Mark 11:25
Unforgiveness spoils everything and cannot live in the heart that has
tasted the love of Christ. When we carry unforgiveness into our prayer
and worship, we are mocking God. We are saying: "LORD, forgive me, but
do not forgive this person with whom I cannot get along." Unforgiveness
is a fruit of unbelief. Jesus said that it puts an injunction against
our prayers. God does not want them, for they come from a wrong spirit.
Whenever we see sins and weaknesses in our fellow Christians, let us
not fail to . . .

Whenever we see sins and weaknesses in our fellow Christians, let us not fail to look deeper and see, beyond the frailties of the flesh, which we also carry, their faith by which we are united with them in a holy and eternal bond.
Christian friends, Let this thought be in our hearts toward every fellow Christian: "I know something good about you; you are a forgiven child of God, and that makes both of us members of God's family and heirs of the promised glory." If we take Christ's words more seriously and act on them, there will be more inner healing in our lives.
Since the LORD our debt did pay,
Saved our soul in grace one day,
We with charity should live,
Always ready to forgive.
