"A new commandment I give unto you that you love one another; as I have loved you."
- John 13:34
Someone has said that love is an action, not a passion. This is borne
out of Christian experience. For instance, we may say we love our wife,
or husband, our sweetheart, or our neighbor, but if that love is indeed
real, our actions will demonstrate it.
I remember reading in one of C. S. Lewis books, "Do not waste your time
bothering whether you love your neighbor; act as if your did. As soon
as we do this, we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving
as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him. If you
injure someone you dislike, you will find yourself . . .

Christian friends, loving is doing. Jesus demonstrated that when He died for us. Is there someone to whom you should show love today?
O I want to serve like Jesus-
Willingly He came from heaven above;
On the earth He lived for others,
Spent His life in kindly deeds of love.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - He who loves much, does much.
