Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
"Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart."
- Psalm 32:11
What is Christianity? Many have said it is a religion of joy. The
great chord of Christian truth vibrates with a melody of triumph and
victory. Other religions have weird rites and drab ceremonies, but
Christianity was born with a song.
Because our Christian faith rests on the foundation of our Savior's
victory over sin, death, and hell, God wants us to be joyful. God has
commanded His children to rejoice even as . . .

Because our Christian faith rests on the foundation of our Savior's victory over sin, death, and hell, God wants us to be joyful. God has commanded His children to rejoice even as He has commanded them to pray. Every Christian will possess a heart of joy.
We can not expect that our life will never be under clouds and shadows. When we sense the power of sin in our lives and in the lives of others, we become heartsick. When we think of the bitter sorrow awaiting those who turn away from Christ,we shudder. But we have a message of victory over sin for ourselves and for others and this should give us gratitude and joy.
Christian friends, Let us say with David: "This I know that God is for me" "The LORD is on my side," "The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want."
The heart that trusts, forever sings
And feels as light as it had wings,
A well of joy within it springs,
Come good or ill.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - Joy is the byproduct of trusting God.
