On the beam and off the beam have become figures of speech well known to all Americans. Almost everyone seems to hold some kind of hope of a hereafter. The thought of a life beyond the grave is written deep in every human heart. The desire for a safe landing on the other side must be accompanied by the proper guidance.  It is dangerous to be off the beam in seeking life eternal.

Many people are following religions that lead to ultimate disappointment. Because these beliefs do not point to Christ, they are false and will not lead to heaven. Only Jesus can take us to heaven by His cross.
 
Christian friends,  Jesus can into the world to provide forgiveness by dying on the cross. He alone could be the perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. And by rising from the grave, He is now the way to heaven for all who put their trust in Him. Because of Jesus, we can get there from here. Because He is Way, we can be sure of a safe landing.
 
I must go home by the way of the cross,
There's no other way but this;
I shall never take stight of the gates of light
If the way of the cross I miss.
 
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - People will go to hell their own way, but must enter Heaven God's Way.
