What is Christianity? It is God's grace in Christ; forgiveness of
sins; eternal life; new life in Christ; and membership in God's eternal
kingdom.
God speaks of our sins as having been blotted out through Christ. And
yet we must not think of God's grace simply as a blotter by which our
sins are removed. When we are saved, Christ not only takes something
away, but He also gives something: A bond of fellowship with Him; His

Now that we have been redeemed, it is in line with the whole purpose of redemption that we return to our first love, for love is the fulfilling of the Law. "He that loveth not his brother abideth in death,"
Christian friends, God does not desire simply to forgive us our sins and then leave us alone. He never does that. He wants us to follow Christ more and more. Faith which unites with Christ brings us the love of Christ to direct our walk. "He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked."
Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed thro' His infinite mercy,
His child, and forever, I am
