"But I say unto you, Love your enemies."
- Matthew 5:44
We have all read publications that deal with people in today's
completive world. They advise us to think tough, to be merciless, to
get revenge. They maintain that aggressiveness is the only way to
survive in a society where money and power are all-important, and where
ruthless men and women are competing for top positions. Those who stand
in the way of advancement are often labeled, enemies, and defeating
them becomes a prime objective.

Christian friends, are there some who defy you? Do you feel you must run roughshod over them to better your own status? Follow the command of the Savior and respond instead with love.
God bids us love our enemies,
As hard as that may be;
The battle He will fight for us
And give the victory.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - In overcoming an enemy, nothing is more effective than the weapon of love.
