In God's providence we often encounter unforeseen events which make it impossible to follow our planned course. Paul had such an experience. The Holy Spirit guides us to the right places, but he also guides us away from the wrong places. Don't be discouraged when things work out differently then you had hoped. The new path you must walk is of God's choosing. It will enrich your life and eventually lead you Home. A detour is not a disaster. It's an open door to greater service and blessing.
When gray threads mar life's pattern And seem so out of line Just trust the Master Weaver Who planned the whole design.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God may lead you around, but He'll lead you right.
